What Does a Sprint Look Like?
Sprint Preparation
What are roles and responsibilities of facilitators:
- Prepare and send out pre-work before the workshop.
- Comment of initial results of the pre-work if submitted in advance.
- Combine pre-work outcomes and prepare the material for the workshop.
- Prepare and facilitate group process during the workshop. Making sure that agreed workshop results are achieved.
- Send out post work assignments.
- Lead check-in meetings to summarise work done so far and set next steps for the management team to take.
- Comment and give feedback on final outcomes.
What are roles and responsibilities of process participants:
- Completing pre-work assignments and answering all questions. The task is completed after sending pre-work materials back to Facilitator.
- Gathering in a given area and preparing it for easy presentation to the rest of the members. The task is completed after sending pre-work materials back to Facilitator.
- Creating the final, revised version of workshop results and putting them in the right form. Task is completed after sending the final results to the facilitator, for feedback.
- Familiarising outcome of previous sessions before the next session.
- Make strategic decisions
Based on the Plan agreed upon, both parties take responsibility for the work. Delays in homework and current work may influence the pace of work.
